But we're gonna be giving away things and people can make donation, whatever people can give. Then we're gonna raffle these things off. Seymour Duncan is gonna match a thousand dollars during one of the hours. We've got some sponsors on board, like Taylor Guitars is donating a guitar. And we're just hitting up all our friends we can, and it's gonna be great.īaltin: How is the money being raised through the streaMįuentes: Tere's no payment. So, I'm doing everything I can to help out as well. He wants to raise a ton of money for Living The Dream Foundation and I'm super thankful and grateful that he wants to put this on. I don't really remember who hosted those things, but I do remember vividly seeing everyone with those big old phones, just answering them in the background and stuff like that. Is there a telethon inspiration host for you or something that you think of for this stream?įuentes: We're not really calling it a telethon, but that's how I describe it to people 'cause I haven't heard of people doing 10-hour streams very often for a good cause. It's just gonna be all day, just having fun.īaltin: When you say telethon, I instantly think of Jerry Lewis. There's gonna be all kinds of things going on. And then in between, we're just gonna have all of our friends popping in and just shooting the s**t with us and hanging out, and we're gonna have some acoustic performances remotely from our friends and I'll probably play a couple of songs. And we're expecting hopefully 500 to a million for this stream since we're going so hard with it. So he calls it the virtual arena, 'cause these bands, they don't get to play in front of that many people. They get anywhere from 100,000-300,000 people watching. And so they're gonna do the finals for the battle of the bands, which they get a big audience for that. I feel like it's hard to just be seen and noticed as a band, with so many bands out there. So I think it's really cool for unsigned bands to have an outlet for them to be seen, cause these days, it's hard. And the winner gets to play main stage at Danny Wimmer's festival, which is huge.
It has brackets and everything, and the people would vote, the crowd votes. So Bobby started this thing, where it's a battle of the bands for unsigned bands on the stream.

My friends Seth Rollins and Bayley are gonna be on, this guy Malachi, Chanel West Coast. We've got Avenged Sevenfold and Korn and Sleeping with Sirens, and we've even got Papa Roach.
So we're gonna have a bunch of friends just kind of popping in and out all day during the stream. And we're just hitting up as many of our artist friends and just random celebrities, and just amazing people that we know that are willing to help out and just pulling out all the stops, hitting up everybody. We're doing a potentially 10-hour stream. I'll still be there with Bobby, hosting. It's a streaming thing anyway, so everyone can just kind of pop in remotely. And so we'll be in their office, which is fine. There's just no future insight of what the hell life is gonna be with COVID."
